RoseOnline: Leonis Server, v144 Update!

The update contains a great amount of changes throughout many features of game play. The history of details can be found in the community forums, however the following is the general list of changes that will be coming with the 144 update on the Leonis server.

The version 144 game update for the Leonis server is planned to be updated January 24, 2008. during the normal maintenance period, also during which the Pegasus will be taken offline to conclude the open testing period of this update.

To celebrate and help promote the update's new changes, the first two week period of the 144 update, the Testimony of Training and Job Skill Reset books will be purchasable from the same NPC in-game as were found on the Pegasus test server. These items will not be transferable and their prices have been set to a reasonable price.

Below is a general reminder and overall review of the changes to expect from the update.

Monster & Zone Drops
-Various monsters and zones have been adjusted with drop rates and some items throughout the worlds of ROSE Online.

-Some of the more noticeable changes will be that gemstones will now be dropping from various monsters at a very rare rate of chance.

Consumable Items
-HP & MP Foods and restorative items have been changed.

-HP & MP type items have been put on their own cool down timers. 
 HP will have its own timer, and MP will have its own timer.

-Restorative items purchased from the NPC will noticeably have a longer cool down time and restoration pace then crafted potions from Dealers and Artisans.

-All the skills that can be viewed in the class skill trees are now purchasable through normal Class NPCs that sell skill books.

Other Items
-Socket styled Rings, Earrings and Necklaces have been renamed and their description updated to no longer give indication that they are slotted.

-Weight has been added or increased on many items.

Class & Skill changes
-A majority of skills no longer require levels in order to learn them. They will mainly require other skills in order to learn them.

-The MP cost for many skills have been adjusted.

-MP Consumption passive skills have been updated to read either as an MP bonus or MP Recovery bonus.

-A number of skills were expanded on giving them additional skill levels and at the same time stretching their power between those levels.

-Attack Power for various skills were adjusted to help balance the power of various classes.

-Some skills were moved from skill trees to another. Notably, the Dealer's Twin Shot and Triple Shot, as well as the Muse's Hustle Charm, have been moved from their original location to another tree.

-Cool down times and associated timers to other skills have been adjusted for each class.

Timers have been shortened considerably to help quicken game activity and combat.

Armor & Weapons
-Armor and weapons for all classes have been adjusted to scale correctly.

-Blue Items will be no different from their base item type, with the exception of what Blue prefix is named.

-Prefixed bonuses have been adjusted to scale with the level range of the equipment so that higher leveled equipment can feature better bonuses.

Bug Fixes
-Various bug fixes have been addressed, both from the update's testing process as well as from prior reported instances from the community.

-Some head equipment that would show hair sticking through was corrected, though there may be a few hair & helmet combinations untested.
